Dare to be different!
November 19, 2013 Haveriggs Farm
All of the ewes were brought in to the pens last week for a little check over and nail care, and a very colourful sight it was! The green marks on the shoulders are the Haveriggs mark and the different colours on the back ends are from the colour blocks attached to the tups and which are changed weekly. Most of the ewes have coloured backs and this being just three weeks after the tups were introduced to their fields meaning that we are going to be very busy come lambing time in March! Over 300 sheep to lamb in three weeks! Hope the weather is good!
